As this COVID-19 virus gains traction, it is important that we implement further policies and procedures. Please see the attached documents to see some of the measures we have implemented.
As Electricians we are deemed as an essential service, however some Electrical jobs are not crucial to be carried out during this time, e.g., having a light fitting replaced as the old fitting isn’t aesthetically pleasing (if the existing light fitting was unsafe, this would be deemed as a safety issue and therefore should be repaired/ replaced).
Some examples of what we would class as essential electrical work include;
Fault finding - loss of power, lighting, etc. Switchboard upgrades – installing safety switches, etc. Replacement/ installation of smoke alarms. Replacement of faulty light switches and socket outlets. Installation/ repair or replacement of critical appliances – Hot Water Services, ovens, etc. The above list may vary slightly and is purely a guide to what we feel are priority jobs to educate our customers.
